Split scene. Left: an AI fraud detection dashboard flagging a transaction in red: '$847 - Restaurant, Tokyo, Japan - SUSPICIOUS.' Right: a human analyst at her desk, pulling up the customer's travel itinerary, seeing a flight to Tokyo booked last week. She clicks 'APPROVE.' Warm office lighting.

An AI flags a transaction as fraudulent. $847 at a restaurant in Tokyo.

The customer lives in Denver. The AI's logic is simple: unusual location, high amount, foreign merchant. Flag it. The system is about to freeze the card.

But before the freeze executes, a human analyst reviews the flag. She pulls up the customer's profile. Flight to Tokyo booked last Tuesday. Hotel reservation in Shibuya. The purchase is legitimate. She approves it.

Without the human review, the customer's card would have been blocked at dinner in Tokyo. Human-in-the-loop saved a customer relationship.
